Here’s everything that was announced during today’s Xbox Games Showcase

Microsoft’s Xbox Game Showcase finally happened today and offered us our first look at Halo Infinite’s campaign, a glimpse at next Fable, and much more. Carry on reading for a full roundup of everything that was shown.

Halo Infinite

Microsoft kicked off its latest showcase with an eight-minute-long demo for 343 Industries’ next entry in the Halo Series. During the video, we got to see the game’s open-world environment, enemies, weapons, and more. Watch the gameplay in full here.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II

Ninja Theory didn’t reveal much in the way of new information about its upcoming sequel. However, the developer did confirm that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will be set in Iceland and shared a behind-the-scenes developer diary that shows off the team’s location scouting.

Fable

After months of rumors and speculation Microsoft finally unveiled the next Fable game to the world. The game is described as “a new beginning” for the series and is in development at Playground Games. Watch the debut trailer here.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2

GSC Game World revealed that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is coming to Xbox Series X and shared a debut trailer. This time, the Zone will be explorable as an open-world full of monsters and factions and will be brought to life using the A-Life 2.0 system.

Tell Me Why

The first chapter of Dontnod Entertainment’s next adventure Tell Me Why will arrive on Xbox One and PC on August 27th. A total of three chapters will be released over three weeks. Watch the latest trailer featuring twins Alyson and Tyler Ronan below:

Forza Motorsport

Turn 10 announced that a new Forza Motorsport is in development for Xbox Series X and Windows 10. This latest entry will run at 4K/60 FPS and features ray tracing. Get a first look here.

Undead Labs unveiled the next entry in the State of Decay series with a debut trailer. Check it out here.

Grounded

Obsidian Entertainment shared a fresh look at its co-op survival adventure game Grounded. Explore the backyard on Xbox One and PC from July 28th.

As Dusk Falls

As Dusk Falls is an original interactive drama from Interior/Night, a new studio headed up by Caroline Marchal, former lead game designer at Quantic Dream. The game tells a multi-generational story about sacrifice and how the mistakes of the older generation impact younger people. Watch the announcement trailer below:

Everwild

We got a fresh look at Rare’s newest title Everwild during the show. Check out the trailer here. The game is due to release on Xbox Series X and Windows 10 and will also be available via Xbox Game Pass from day one.

The Outer Worlds

Following some teases earlier this week, Obsidian has announced that The Outer Worlds’ first DLC will arrive in September. Get all the details about Peril on Gorgon here.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

Fatshark, the team behind the Warhammer 40,000: Vermintide series, unveiled their next game Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. This latest title is a new four-player co-op game set in hive Tertium and sees players taking on hordes of enemies.

Avowed

Obsidian Entertainment gave us a very brief look at its next big role-playing game Avowed. Get the details and watch the debut trailer here.

Tetris Effect: Connected

Tetris Effect is coming to Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Windows 10, and Xbox Game Pass later this year. This expanded version of the game features all-new co-op and competitive online multiplayer modes. These additions will be brought to other platforms in summer 2021.

The Gunk

The creators of the SteamWorld franchise are back with a completely new game called The Gunk. Explore an exotic world full of terrifying enemies and challenging puzzles when the game arrives on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Windows PC.

Psychonauts 2

A new trailer for Psychonauts 2 revealed a trippy new level complete with a song from Jack Black. Watch it here.

The Medium

Bloober Team released a new trailer for its next title The Medium. Players must use their psychic abilities to uncover an old communist resort’s secrets, solve puzzles across two realities, and take on sinister spirits. Watch the latest trailer below:

Destiny 2

Bungie announced that Destiny 2 will be joining Xbox Game Pass in September alongside all of the game’s expansions. The game’s next expansion Beyond Light will also be added to the pass when it launches this November. Find out more here.

Phantasy Star Online 2

In a surprise announcement, Sega unveiled Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. New Genesis will be released next year in Japan and North America and will update Phantasy Star Online 2’s game system and graphics engine.

CrossFireX

Remedy and Smilegate Entertainment shared a first look at the single-player campaign for upcoming shooter CrossFireX.
