Watch Final Fantasy VII Remake’s opening cinematic
Square Enix has shared the full opening cinematic for Final Fantasy VII Remake.
The remake’s opening is a mix of old and new, with the opening shots giving us an overview of Midgar and its people before the camera swoops down to Aerith, which is how the original game opened. From here, the remake pretty much follows the original opening cinematic, as we see Aerith walking out onto the street, the train pulling into the station, and Cloud making his entrance.
Yesterday, Square Enix released a new batch of screenshots for the remake that showed off the Mercenary Quest system, Tifa’s abilities, the Battle Record, Hojo, summons, and more.
Final Fantasy VII Remake will be available on PlayStation 4 from April 10th, 2020.
