Final Fantasy VII Remake timed exclusivity pushed back following delay
The recent delay to Final Fantasy VII Remake means that the end of the game’s timed exclusivity window has also been pushed back.
Originally, the remake’s PlayStation 4 exclusivity was scheduled to end on March 3rd, 2021, but Square Enix has updated the game’s box art (via Siliconera) to reflect the new date of April 10th, 2021. As with the previous end date, this new date is set for exactly one year after the game’s PlayStation 4 release.
In other news, Square Enix recently released a new trailer for the game that gave us our first look at Red XIII, Jenova, Scarlet, Palmer, Leviathan, and the Honey Bee Inn.
Final Fantasy VII Remake launches April 10th, 2020, for PlayStation 4.
