Watch Dogs Legion, Rainbow Six Quarantine, and Gods & Monsters delayed
Ubisoft has announced that it is delaying Watch Dogs Legion, Rainbow Six Quarantine, and Gods & Monsters due to Ghost Recon Breakpoint underperforming.
Gods & Monsters had an original release date of February 25th, 2020, Watch Dogs Legion was due to release on March 6th, 2020, and Rainbow Six Quarantine had a fiscal year 2020 release window. All three of these games will now launch in the fiscal year 2020-21, which runs from April 2020 to March 31st, 2021.
This decision has been made to give each team more development time “to ensure that their respective innovations are perfectly implemented so as to deliver optimal experiences for players,” according to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot.
“While each of these games already has a strong identity and high potential, we want our teams to have more development time to ensure that their respective innovations are perfectly implemented so as to deliver optimal experiences for players,” he said in a press release.
It was also mentioned that Ubisoft now has five AAA titles set to release in the fiscal year 2020-21.
