Starfield and Redfall have been delayed
Bethesda has pushed the releases of both Starfield and Redfall into the first half of 2023.
“The teams at Arkane Austin (Redfall) and Bethesda Game Studios (Starfield) have incredible ambitions for their games, and we want to ensure that you receive the best, most polished versions of them,” Bethesda wrote in a message posted to Twitter.
“We want to thank everyone for their excitement for Redfall and Starfield. That energy is a huge part of what inspires all of us every day and drives our own excitement for what we are creating.”
Bethesda added that it plans to share a deep dive into gameplay for both games “soon.”
Starfield had been given a November 11th, 2022, release date, while open-world co-op shooter Redfall was due to release in summer 2022.
Starfield and Redfall are now scheduled to arrive in the first half of 2023 on Xbox Series X/S and PC. Both games will be available through Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass from launch.
