Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is coming to EA Play
Last year’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is coming to EA Play, EA’s subscription service, on November 10th, the same day that EA Play’s entire library is joining Xbox Game Pass.
Jedi: Fallen Order follows former Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis as he is forced to come out of hiding in the era of Order 66. In our review, we said that “Fallen Order checks off every box for fans of the franchise looking for a fix” but that it “replicates the elements of more ‘serious games’ without actually iterating in new or surprising ways.”
The game received its biggest update in May, adding a New Game Plus Option as well as Combat Challenges and Battle Grid, which are both fantastic for Jedi looking to get more practice with their lightsabers.
Other updates have made Cal more responsive in combat, as well as adding a photo mode, so it might be a good time to return to the game if you haven’t played it since launch.
The timing of adding Jedi: Fallen Order to EA Play doesn’t just seem coincidental. EA Play is joining Game Pass on November 10th, the same day that Xbox’s new consoles launch. We’re interested to see if developer Respawn optimizes the games for the new consoles, though neither Respawn nor EA have made an announcement about any optimized games.
EA Play is also available on PlayStation and PC via Origin.
