Square Enix making changes to Final Fantasy XIV’s Housing Wards to help with demand
Square Enix has announced that a change is coming to Final Fantasy XIV‘s Housing Wards that aims to help with the massive demand for private housing in the game.
Following the start of the lottery period on Sunday, July 10th, Wards 10-18 are being changed from Free Company Housing only to Private Housing Wards. As a result, all of the houses in Wards 10-24 will be open to private buyers, with Wards 1-9 remaining Free Company exclusive.
Players who have previously purchased a Free Company house in the Wards listed above will be unaffected by this change.
Final Fantasy XIV is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.
