PlayStation Plus games for October revealed
Sony has revealed the two PlayStation 4 games that PlayStation Plus subscribers will be getting for free in October.
First up is Naughty Dog’s remaster of The Last of Us, which also includes The Last of Us: Left Behind DLC. The Last of Us is set 20 years after a pandemic caused humans to become infected and follows the story of Joel, a survivor who is hired to smuggle a young girl named Ellie out of the military quarantine zone. The game’s sequel, The Last of Us Part II, is due to release in February 2020.
The second game on offer next month is MLB The Show 19. The latest entry in San Diego Studio’s baseball series lets players relive MLBs greatest moments in the Moments mode or create their own character and rise through the ranks in Road to the Show. All players who download the game between October 1st and October 31st will receive five free packs that contain Diamond player for the Diamond Dynasty squad and equipment for Road to the Show characters.
The Last of Us Remastered and MLB The Show 19 will be available to download for PlayStation Plus subscribers from October 1st through November 4th.
There’s still time to pick up this month’s PlayStation Plus titles. Batman: Arkham Knight and Darksiders III will be available until September 30th.
