PlayStation Plus games for August revealed
Sony has revealed the next two PlayStation 4 titles that PlayStation Plus subscribers will be getting.
Kicking things off is Devolver Digital and Mediatonic’s massively multiplayer party game Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. The game sees 60 players battling through a series of cooperative and competitive challenges to be the last one standing. The game will be available to PlayStation Plus subscribers for free from launch on August 4th.
Joining it is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered. This remastered release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s single-player campaign features improved textures and animations, physically-based rendering, high-dynamic range lighting, and more. Sony notes that the Underwater Demo Team Classic Ghost Bundle is not included.
Both of these games will be free to download for PlayStation Plus subscribers until August 31st.
Sony also announced that it will be hosting a free online multiplayer weekend for PlayStation 4 in August. From August 8th through August 9th, PlayStation 4 owners without a PlayStation Plus subscription will be able to access online multiplayer.
PlayStation Plus subscribers still have time to claim July’s free games, which include NBA 2K20, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, and Erica.
