New seasons for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Warzone, and Mobile delayed
Activision has announced that it is delaying the start of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone’s fourth season, as well as Call of Duty: Mobile’s seventh season.
A message posted to the official Call of Duty Twitter account explained that “now is not the time.” New start dates were not offered, with the publisher stating that they are being moved to “later dates.”
“Right now it’s time for those speaking up for equality, justice and change to be seen and heard,” Activision added. “We stand alongside you.”
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone’s fourth season was originally scheduled to begin tomorrow, June 3rd. Last week, Activision released a trailer for the upcoming season that hinted at the return of Captain price as a playable Operator.
