Here’s when Call of Duty will reveal Modern Warfare II multiplayer

Activision has announced that it will reveal Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II‘s multiplayer on September 15th during its new “Call of Duty: Next” event.

The “era-defining franchise event” will not only include a “full Modern Warfare II multiplayer reveal,” but it will also reveal more information about the next installment of Call of Duty: Warzone, which is set to launch soon after Modern Warfare II, and the mobile version of Warzone.

Since Next takes place a day before the game’s multiplayer beta launches for those who preordered Modern Warfare II on PlayStation, we’re assuming the event will reveal exactly what will be included in the beta. We know at least one of the maps on offer: the recently revealed Marina Bay Grand Prix.

The Next event will not only showcase streamers playing the game for the first time, but it will also include information about “[REDACTED.” Unfortunately, some NFL players might have already blown the surprise after posting images of themselves playing Modern Warfare II‘s long-rumored “DMZ” mode.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II launches on October 28th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
