Fortnite update introduces Sidegrading
Epic Games has pushed live update 11.40 for Fortnite that introduces the Sidegrading system, adjusts Upgrade Machines, and more.
Following the update, players will be able to visit an Upgrade Machine while playing in a non-competitive playlist and “Sidegrade” their Assault Rifle into a Heavy Assault Rifle. In addition, the material costs required to upgrade weapons has been reduced.
Other changes include support for 120 FPS on the iPad Pro (2018), support for clickable thumbsticks on iOS controllers, and new items for the Battle Lab.
Moving over to Save the World. Players get the Misfit Toys questline, a new Outlander hero called Jilly Teacup, the return of the Ice Queen, and a new Frostnite challenge that rewards the Frostbite Sniper Rifle.
