Final Fantasy XIV’s Yo-kai Watch event returns next week
Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy XIV’s Yo-kai Watch event will return to the game next week on August 19th.
To begin the event, speak to the Poor-heeled Youth in Ul’dah, Steps of Nald to get the Yo-kai Watch. Then equip the watch and take part in FATEs in La Noscea, the Black Shroud, Thanalan, all Heavensward regions, and all Stormblood regions to earn Yo-kai medals. These medals can be traded to the wandering executive in the Gold Saucer in exchange for 17 Yo-kai minions.
Following this, players need to bring out a Yo-kai minion and complete FATEs in the above areas to earn legendary Yo-kai medals. These legendary medals can be exchanged with the wandering executive for Yo-kai weapons, including new weapons for Gunbreaker, Red Mage, Samurai, and Dancer.
Finally, players who collect 13 of the Yo-kai minions will get the Whisper-go mount. Read more about the upcoming event here.
Final Fantasy XIV is available now on PlayStation 4 and PC.
