Final Fantasy XIV’s Moogle Treasure Trove event returns this month
Final Fantasy XIV’s Moogle Treasure Trove event will return to the game on May 18th, Square Enix has announced.
“In recent years, demand from collectors and historians has led to a surge of adventurers seeking tomestones, those mysterious relics of the Allagan Empire made to record and keep its secrets,” Square Enix explains. “Some small number of the artifacts, unique for the peculiar sort of knowledge contained within, have piqued the interest of the eccentric─in particular, itinerant moogles, who come bearing rare goods of their own to exchange for these “irregular” tomestones.”
During the event, specific duties in the Duty Finder will reward players with irregular tomestones upon completion. Players can then take these tomestones to the Itinerant Moogle in each of the game’s starting cities to exchange for rare items.
A few items on offer during this latest iteration of the event include the Mameshiba Neckerchief, the Demonic Lanner Whistle, the Unspoken Orchestrion Roll, and several riding maps. A full list of available items can be found over on the official site.
The Moogle Treasure Trove event will be live from May 18th until the launch of update 5.3, which currently does not have a release date.
