Final Fantasy XIV’s Moogle Treasure Trove event returns next week
Square Enix has announced that the Moogle Treasure Trove event will return to Final Fantasy XIV next week.
“In recent years, demand from collectors and historians has led to a surge of adventurers seeking tomestones, those mysterious relics of the Allagan Empire made to record and keep its secrets,” Square Enix writes. “Some small number of the artifacts, unique for the peculiar sort of knowledge contained within, have piqued the interest of the eccentric─in particular, itinerant moogles, who come bearing rare goods of their own to exchange for these “irregular” tomestones.”
The event made its debut earlier this year and tasks players with completing content to earn irregular tomestones that can be traded to Itinerant Moogles for new and existing rewards. These Moogles can be found in each of the game’s starting cities and are offering players mounts, accessories, weapons, Orchestrion Rolls, Riding Maps, and more.
Irregular Tomestones can be obtained from a number of duties, including story dungeons, PvP, 24-player raids, and low-level dungeons. A full list of eligible duties can be found here.
Final Fantasy XIV is available now on PlayStation 4 and PC.
