Final Fantasy XIV’s 6.2 update is now live

Square Enix has released Buried Memory, the latest update for Final Fantasy XIV.

The highlight of the update is the new Island Sanctuary, which grants players their own personal paradise. On this island, players can gather resources and materials, build accommodations, grow crops, let their minions roam free, and more.

In addition to the above, there are new Main Scenario Quests, the latest entry in the Pandæmonium raid series, The Fell Court of Troia dungeon, and an Unreal difficulty version of Containment Bay S1T7. There’s also the continuation of Tataru’s Grand Endeavor, the full release of Adventurer Plates, and changes to the Heavensward and A Realm Reborn main scenarios.

Finally, a number of balance changes have been made to jobs, including adjustments to the Machinist’s Rook Autoturret and Automaton Queen, as well as potency increases for the Paladin, Warrior, Gunbreaker, Samurai, Reaper, and more. Take a look at all of the balance changes in the full patch notes here.

Final Fantasy XIV is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.
