Final Fantasy XIV kicks off free login campaign, Starlight Celebration detailed
Lapsed subscribers can return to Final Fantasy XIV for free for a limited time thanks to the game’s free login campaign.
Until January 14th, 2020, players who have previously purchased and registered a copy of the game can return and play free for 120 hours as long as their account has been set to inactive for at least 30 days.
The free login period will officially begin upon logging into the game launcher and will last until 11:59 p.m. on the fourth day after logging in. Players who are logged in when their free period ends will be forcibly logged out. More information can be found here.
Square Enix also shared details about the latest iteration of Final Fantasy XIV’s festive-themed Starlight Celebration. The event gets underway on December 18th and sees players aiding Amh Garanjy in Old Gridania.
During the event, players will be able to earn the Saintly Barding, the Starlight de Chocobo Orchestrion Roll, the Choir Concert Advertisement, the Starlight Cake Roll, and the Starlight Goobbue Wreath.
Final Fantasy XIV is available now on PlayStation 4 and PC.
