Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker release date revealed alongside new Job

Square Enix announced during Final Fantasy XIV’s Digital Fan Fest that the game’s fourth expansion, Endwalker, will officially release on November 23rd, 2021.

In addition to the release date, producer and director Naoki Yoshida revealed the second new Job that will join the Sage in the expansion. Players who purchase Endwalker will be able to explore the world as the new Reaper Job. The Reaper is a melee DPS that wields a scythe and can call upon an avatar from the Void to aid them in battle. Endwalker will also introduce Male Viera as a playable race, a new major city called Old Sharlayan, The Magus Sisters as a new threat, a new Best Tribe, the Myths of the Realm Alliance Raid Series, new dungeons, and more.

Square Enix also unveiled a Collector’s Edition for Endwalker during Fan Fest that includes the physical Collector’s Box and Digital Collector’s Edition. The Collector’s Box contains a Special Art Box, a Paladin figure, an art collection and frame set, an Azem Pin, and a Loporrit Mini Plush. While the Digital Collector’s Edition features the Arion Mount, Wind-up Porom Minion, and Death Scythe weapon for the Reaper.

On top of all this, players who preorder the game will receive the Menphina Earring, Wind-up Palom Minion, and early access to Endwalker beginning November 19th.

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker launches November 23rd for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.
