Final Fantasy XIV adds Hildibrand Adventures, Variant Dungeons, and more
Square Enix has delivered a new update for Final Fantasy XIV that brings new content to the game.
Following the update, players will be able to experience more adventures with Hildibrand that lead into a new series of weapon enhancement quests. Players can obtain the Manderville Weapons in this update and then enhance them throughout the Patch 6.x series.
Also introduced in this update is the first Variant Dungeon. Sil’dihn Subterrane is designed for 1-4 players and will scale the difficulty based on the number of players in the party. There are branching routes through the dungeon that will change depending on the actions of the player.
Completing the 6.25 update are a harder version of the Variant Dungeon known as a Criterion Dungeon and Tribal Quests for the Omicron. Read the full patch notes here.
