Control Ultimate Edition announced, Steam release date revealed
Control is finally coming to Steam on August 27th with the release of the Ultimate Edtion, publisher 505 Games and developer Remedy Entertainment have announced.
The Ultimate Edition is priced at $39.99 and bundles the original game with its two expansions: The Foundation and AWE. Following the Steam release, the Ultimate Edition will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the Epic Games Store digitally on September 10th.
It was also confirmed that Control is coming to Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 by the end of the year. Players who purchase the Ultimate Edition can upgrade to the next-gen version for free.
In other news, Remedy’s creative director Sam Lake and Control game director Mikael Kasurinen will share a first look at the opening 15 minutes of Control’s second DLC AWE tomorrow, August 13th. The reveal will happen live on Twitch at 9 a.m. PT.
Control is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
