Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 launch trailer plays ‘Free Bird’
Two days ahead of its release, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0‘s launch trailer has arrived, showing players everything that the free-to-play battle royale experience has to offer. And it has a great song choice.
Set to “Free Bird,” the Warzone 2.0 launch trailer highlights several of the new features that players can expect in the next iteration of Call of Duty’s now-signature standalone title. We’re talking vehicle drop-ins, underwater gunfights, and the all-new DMZ mode.
Speaking of the latter, Activision and Infinity Ward recently let select streamers go hands-on with the highly anticipated extraction-based mode. Here, we see players exfiltrating from Warzone 2.0‘s massive Al Mazrah map. In DMZ, players don’t fight to be the last team standing necessarily. Instead, they can complete missions to level up their standings with the game’s factions, earning more gear and in-game currency along the way.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 launches November 16th for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. That launch coincides with the start of Season One in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which brings two classic maps to the game, a new co-op mission, and the game’s first Raid, as well as the game’s first battle pass.
