Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s MP5 has been nerfed
Following player feedback, Treyarch has pushed the first weapon balance change for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
According to a post by the developer on Twitter, this small balance update reduces the base effective damage range of “Submachine Gun Alpha,” otherwise known as the MP5, and also adjusts the gun’s initial recoil.
The developer is hoping that these changes will be enough to convince players to try out the other four submachine guns in the game.
In other Call of Duty-related news, Infinity Ward released a new update for Call of Duty: Warzone last week that added Private Matches, reduced the game’s install size, introduced support for next-gen consoles, and more.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
