Trials of Mana update includes No Future difficulty setting
A new update will be released for Trials of Mana on October 14th, 2020, that includes two new difficulty settings.
The big new addition is the “No Future” difficulty setting. This difficulty can only be selected via New Game Plus and makes enemies and bosses stronger, limits players to just three items in battle, adds a time limit to boss battles, and removes some abilities. Players who manage to beat the game on this difficulty will earn the Rabite Slippers.
Other changes include a new Very Hard difficulty, the option to skip class change scenes, the option to return to level one when selecting New Game Plus, and new Goddess Statues. Read the full patch notes here.
Trials of Mana is available now on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
