Marvel’s Avengers update lets Cap smash doors, grants free Polychoron
Crystal Dynamics has released a new update for Marvel’s Avengers that offers some apology currency and improves Captain America.
Following the update, Captain America will finally be able to smash through doors and the long-time issue that prevented Faction Missions and Villain Sectors from properly refreshing has been fixed. As an apology for this issue, all players will be able to claim 250 Polychoron and 500 Uru by viewing a Challenge Card before October 1st.
There are also some balance adjustments for the Adept Drone, Synthoid, and Keeper enemies. The update adds a new standard attack for the Drone and Keeper, reduces homing attack frequency, and increases the global cooldown of all quantum homing projectile attacks.
Other changes include a fix for the level one legendary item, an adjustment to Mega Hive loot tables, and a reduction in the Spin Keeper’s Heroic Drain. Read the full patch notes here.
