Marvel’s Avengers update introduces an AI ping system
Crystal Dynamics has released a new update for Marvel’s Avengers that adds a new ping system for AI teammates.
Following the update, players can aim at a door that can be hacked or smashed and press up on the d-pad to ping it and order their teammate to access the door. The current system can only be used for doors, however, it will be expanded in the future to cover objectives, resources, enemies, and more.
In addition to adding this new system, the update fixes a number of bugs, including black screen errors, infinite load times, Hulk’s animations, and more. Read the full patch notes here.
In other related news, the developer recently confirmed that Marvel’s Avengers’ first post-launch character, Kate Bishop, will be joining the roster in December. Kate will have a unique set of skills, her own set of cosmetics, and new story content for players to experience.
Marvel’s Avengers is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Stadia.
