Marvel’s Avengers’ Tachyon Anomaly event begins next week
Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have revealed that Marvel’s Avengers previously teased Tachyon Anomaly event will get underway on April 22nd.
During the event, which is live until May 3rd, players will be able to form teams that feature more than one of the same hero. As a result, players could matchmake into a team with two Captain Americas or four Hulks thanks to the Tachyon Anomalies merging different timelines.
Multiple Tachyon Rift Missions will be available for the duration of the event, including new missions for players with heroes between power level 1-100. Usually, Tachyon Rifts only appear once a week and are designed around players with a power level over 140.
As for rewards, players can get their hands on Hivemind Gear Set items from a weekly mission chain and Priority Set gear items from daily missions. There will also be special Temporal Assault animated nameplates available. All players will receive an animated team nameplate for completing the weekly mission chain, with hero-specific animated nameplates available to purchase from the Marketplace.
Marvel’s Avengers is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
