Infinity Ward temporarily disables Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s attachment tuning
Infinity Ward has temporarily removed attachment tuning from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2‘s Gunsmith due to a game-crashing bug.
The developer revealed on Twitter that the feature is gone “until further notice” while a crash caused by tuning five attachments is investigated. Infinity Ward added that players who have a tuned attachment on their weapon will need to unequip and reequip the attachment to use the weapon again.
In other news, Infinity Ward recently pushed an update for Modern Warfare 2 that aimed to improve crashes when players are in a party.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
