Here’s everything coming to Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone in Season 2 Reloaded
Activision has revealed all of the new content coming to Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone during the mid-season update.
Season 2 Reloaded brings with it a fresh look for the Rebirth map. The Security Area is now a Stronghold with plenty of Supply Boxes and item Spawns and a radar tower that offers great sightlines. In addition, two large supply ships have arrived near the Control Center, the Prison Yard now has more cover, and Caldera’s Redeploy Balloons have been introduced.
Warzone players can also look forward to three new game modes. The first is a solo variant of Rebirth Resurgence, in which Operators will have their Rebirth meter already activated. Joining it are a Plunder variant known as Rebirth Blood Money and Rebirth Payload, a 12v12 team-based mode that tasks Operators with either escorting or attempting to stop trucks while they travel on a set path.
The final piece of the puzzle for Warzone is the Rebirth Reinforced Event. Complete individual and community challenges to unlock the Legendary “Toxic Heavy” LMG Blueprint, hundreds of thousands of XP, and use of weapon trade stations. Using these, players can give up a weapon for one of lesser quality and some additional items like cash, equipment, Armor Satchels, Self-Revive Kits, and Killstreaks.
While over in Vanguard, a new large-scale 12v12 mode called Arms Race is being added. The mode takes place on Alps, the largest map in Vanguard, and sees players fighting over control of five bases. Sledgehammer Games is also adding a Top 250 Skill Division and Leaderboard for Ranked, new Ranked Play rewards, and a loosening of SR restrictions for party play in Ranked.
Zombies players are also getting some new stuff with two new Covenants, a new Sacrifice Objective in Der Anfang, and the ability to pause solo games. Read more about Season 2 Reloaded here.
Finally, Snoop Dogg is coming to both Warzone and Vanguard on April 19th. The Snoop Dogg Operator Bundle includes 10 items and a full Operator progression track, which features “Weapon XP for Snoop’s preferred weapon from Vanguard, three alternate outfits, and other cosmetic items.”
Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard are available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
