Forspoken has been delayed again
Square Enix and Luminous Productions have announced another delay for Forspoken.
In a message posted to Twitter, the companies revealed that the game’s release date is being moved from October 11th to January 24th, 2023. This latest delay is the “result of ongoing discussions with key partners.”
“As a result of ongoing discussions with key partners, we have made the strategic decision to move the launch date of Forspoken to January 24th, 2023. All game elements are now complete, and development is in its final polishing phase,” the message reads.
This is the second time this year the game has been delayed, with Square Enix announcing back in March that it was moving the release date from May 24th to October 11th.
Forspoken is now set to release on January 24th, 2023, for PlayStation 5 and PC.
