Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 update makes more weapon adjustments, adds 120hz on PS5
Call of Duty: Warzone‘s Season 4 update has gone live with even more balance adjustments for its selection of weapons.
According to developer Raven Software, these changes are “laying the groundwork” for a balance overhaul that will make “sweeping balance changes to weapons.” The upcoming changes will “bring the average Time to Kill up by approximately 60 to 100 milliseconds” and “increase the overall capacity for skill expression.”
Before then, however, the CR-56 AMAX, Groza, AMP63, Ballistic Knife, Streetsweeper, and more have been hit with various nerfs and buffs. A couple of examples include minimum damage and maximum damage range increases for the Groza, a maximum damage increase for the AMP63, a maximum damage range decrease for the Streetsweeper, and damage multiplier increases for the Milano 821.
Read the patch notes here for the full rundown of all the balance changes and Raven Software’s reasoning behind them.
Season 4 of Warzone is live right now and includes the Ground Fall limited-time event, the Verdansk Resurgence Mini mode, a new Battle Pass, new Satellite Crash POIs, 120hz support on PS5, and a new Dirt Bike vehicle. Additionally, Verdansk loot spawns have been adjusted, there are eight new LGBTQIA+Pride flag Calling Cards, and the Gulag has received a Hijacked makeover.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game is also playable in backward compatibility mode on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
