Call of Duty: Vanguard’s new Experimental Playlist modifies spawn system
Sledgehammer Games is testing improvements to Call of Duty: Vanguard‘s spawn system through a new Experimental Playlist.
“A primary goal of the spawn system in Vanguard is to prevent players from spawning in a position where an enemy player immediately threatens them,” the developer wrote on its official site. “We recognize that this system frequently fails to select a quality spawn point on smaller maps based on analytics and player feedback.”
In this new playlist, which is available now, the developer has made changes to the spawn system “to better determine the quality of a given spawn location on the map.” With these changes, spawns should be less random.
The playlist includes the Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination, and Hardpoint game modes on Shipment, Das Haus, and Dome. Players can share their feedback on the new changes through a survey.
Call of Duty: Vanguard is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
