Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season One includes Shoot House, Shipment, and more

Activision and Infinity Ward have revealed the new content coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 during the game’s first season.

To start with, two classic maps are coming to the game. At the start of the season, a reimagined version of Shoot House is arriving, with a reimagining of Shipment set on a cargo ship in the Atlantic Ocean following during the season.

In addition to these maps, Infinity Ward is introducing a new co-op mission called High Ground and the game’s first Raid. In Raid Episode One, three players can join forces to continue the story of Modern Warfare 2‘s campaign through “stealth, all-out action, and puzzle-solving objectives.” More information will be shared soon.

Also on the way is the first Battle Pass. Unlike previous entries, Modern Warfare 2‘s Battle Pass is set on a multi-sector map, with players able to choose which items they go for first. Each map features 20 sectors with five items in each. The rewards on offer include a new Operator, two weapons, Weapon Blueprints, and more.

As mentioned above, new weapons are coming in Season One. The Victus XMR Sniper Rifle and BAS-P SMG can be unlocked via the free tiers of the Battle Pass, while the M13B Assault Rifle (Launch) and Chimera Assault Rifle (In-Season) can be unlocked by completing a challenge or purchasing a store bundle.

Other additions in Season One include the hardcore Tier 1 playlist, the Prestige system, and six new Operators, including soccer players Neymar Jr., Paul Pogba, and Lionel Messi.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season One begins on November 16th.
