Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 launch trailer focuses on the campaign
Activision has shared an official launch trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 that offers a brief look at the game’s campaign.
Players will follow Task Force 141 as they travel the globe to complete missions in Europe, Asia, and the Americas in an attempt to take down “a newly aligned menace with deep, yet unknown, connections.” Captain John Price, Kyle “Gaz” Garrick, Simon “Ghost” Riley, and John “Soap” MacTavish are joined by new member Colonel Alejandro Vargas, a Tier 1 Operator and member of the Mexican Special Forces.
“This Campaign is set to be an incredible experience on numerous levels: offshore sieges with underwater combat, all-out explosive assaults from 30,000 feet above enemy strongholds, and high-stakes, low-profile stealth missions in both plain sight and under the cover of darkness,” the publisher previously said.
All players who preorder the game will be able to access the campaign one week early.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 launches October 28th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
