Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War update nerfs the EM2 and TEC-9
The previously promised balance changes for the TEC-9 and EM2 have arrived with the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War update.
Starting with the powerful TEC-9, the weapon’s damage is now been reduced by 18 percent when using the Full-Auto Repeater Muzzle. As for the EM2, it received a fire rate decrease of seven percent when using the Task Force Barrell. In addition to these changes, the PPSh-41 got a damage bonus increase when using the Task Force and an aim down sight time bonus with the Spetsnaz Field Grip.
This update also kicks off a double XP weekend, introduces a new Gunfight Tournament, and activates the Season Five Moshpit and Throwback Moshpit playlists. Read the full patch notes here.
Finally, the Free Access event is now live. Until September 7th, players on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC can try out several multiplayer playlists as well as Outbreak and Onslaught (PlayStation only) in Zombies for free.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
