Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War update adds League Play restrictions
Following the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s League Play earlier this week, Treyarch has added a number of restrictions to the usable attachments, Scorestreaks, and field upgrades.
Following the update, players are no longer allowed to use suppressors, the Task Force Barrel, the Armor and War Machine Scorestreaks, the Jammer Field Upgrade, the Molotov, or the Gung-Ho perk. Take a look at the full list of restrictions below:
- Suppressors (All)
- Task Force Barrel
- Spetsnaz RPK Barrel
- CMV MIL-Spec Barrel
- Tiger Team Barrel
- Mounted Flashlight
- Target Designator
- Tiger Team Spotlight
- War Machine
“As always, we’ll continue to monitor feedback and game data to ensure a fun and competitive experience with regard to rules and content restrictions in League Play,” the developer added. “Our ultimate goal is to deliver a more varied experience for players by offering certain variations on the rules, while providing an experience similar to what the pros are playing in the CDL. Keep your feedback coming, check out the new changes in place today, and keep on climbing to the top.”
In addition to the restrictions, this update makes a couple of adjustments to Zombies. With this update, the special enemy class now counts to the elite eliminations weapon camo challenge and Orda eliminations now count for three elite eliminations toward weapon campo challenges. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
