Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War mid-season update arrives next week
Treyarch has confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s first mid-season update will arrive next week on January 14th.
According to the developer, the upcoming update will introduce a new 6v6 multiplayer mode called Dropkick, in which players will fight for control of nuclear codes, as well as the new Fireteam map Sanatorium.
While Zombies players can look forward to the new Cranked mode, which resets the timer counting down to death with each zombie killed, and Raid as a new Onslaught map. Finally, the mid-season update includes new Dark Aether intel for PlayStation.
Treyarch recently released a new playlist update for the game that added Raid + Crossroads Strike 24/7, Gunfight Blueprints, and Fireteam: Dirty Bomb Duos.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
