Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War getting Rambo’s Gun Game and double XP
Activision has offered a rundown of what will be coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War this week.
Kicking things off is the arrival of Rambo’s Gun Game on May 27th. This 20-weapon Gun Game equips every player with the Stimshot and includes the Combat Bow, Death Machine, RPG-7, and War Machine. Dying from a melee kill will push players back a stage and the final weapon kill is with the Ballistic Knife.
In addition, Snipers Only Moshpit is returning, Standoff 24/7 continues, and 6v6 Faceoff is making its debut. This new playlist contains a number of respawn modes on Gunfight maps.
There’s also another double XP event running this week. From May 28th at 10 a.m. PT through May 3rd, players can earn twice as much XP. This does not include weapon XP and Battle Pass XP.
Finally, the store is being updated with some new stuff this week, including the nine-item Maxis bundle. This new bundle comes with the “Death’s Bride” Operator skin, two legendary blueprints, and more. There’s also the eight-item Road Rage Reactive bundle that includes the Ultra “Direct Injection” sniper rifle.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
