Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War getting Gunfight Tournaments, Gunsmith Customs

Activision has revealed that Gunfight Tournaments, the Gunsmith Customs feature, and a new weapon are all coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War later this week.

First up are the new Gunfight Tournaments, 2v2 single-elimination tournaments featuring 16 teams. Win to move onto the next round, lose and it’s time to leave. Each tournament will feature four exclusive rewards to earn, including a new Emblem, Calling card, Charm, and Weapon Blueprint.

Next is the Gunsmith Customs feature, which lets players mix-and-match attachments from various Weapon Blueprints from the same weapon type to create their own custom Blueprint. These creations can then be taken into multiplayer and Zombies.

In addition to the above, the ZRG 20mm sniper rifle finally makes its debut in Season 2. This new weapon offers the highest damage per shot in the sniper class and can be unlocked via an in-game challenge or by purchasing the new Jackpot Sniper Bundle, which also contains “a dice-themed Animated Emblem, ‘Full House’ Weapon Sticker, and the ‘Million Dollar Chip’ Weapon Charm.”

Finally, the “Hellscream” Mastercraft Bundle arrives in the store this week. The bundle contains the Ghost skin for Portnova, the Ultra “Mortal Anguish” sniper rifle Blueprint, and the “Brutalizer” legendary shotgun Blueprint, as well as an animated Calling Card, animated Emblem, Weapon Sticker, “Pin Cushion” Weapon Charm, “Hyperscream” Watch, and more.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
