Adjustments being made to Call of Duty: Warzone’s Vanguard Royale mode

Raven Software has announced that Vanguard Royale will be re-entering the playlist rotation for all squad sizes today, March 3rd.

A few balance changes have been made to the mode for its return, including an increase in core health from 100 to 150. This means that players will now have a total health pool of 300 when using armor.

“We agree with the feedback that the Time-to-Kill (TTK) has crept beyond the sweet spot and hope that this adjustment will improve Player experience and sentiment,” the developer said. “This change comes parallel to additional Weapon balancing that remains a key focus for the team.”

In addition to the health change, UAVs are back in Buy Stations with an increased cost of $9000. The developer explained that this is a compromise “where UAV’s will remain accessible but less inclined to be so readily exploitable.”

The developer has also slightly nerfed the XM4 (BOCW) by reducing its neck damage multiplier to 1.33 from 1.5. Read the full patch notes here.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
