EA announces start time for EA Play Live
EA has announced additional details around next month’s EA Play Live streaming event, including the exact timing the festivities will begin.
The broadcast will begin at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET), starting with a pre-show. The main event will follow immediately after, the publisher announced via Twitter. Also confirmed is who’ll handle hosting duties this year. That honor goes to WWE superstar and gaming enthusiast Austin Creed, aka Xavier Woods.
So what games will we see during the show? We know we’ll definitely hear more about Battlefield 2042, specifically a mysterious mode DICE LA is hard at work on. Madden NFL 22 and the yet-unannounced FIFA 22 also seem like obvious choices. Though it may be too early, we may also get updates on other highly anticipated titles like the long-awaited Skate reboot and BioWare’s new Mass Effect and Dragon Age games.
And, of course, there will likely be a few surprises. Rumors are swirling that an old EA franchise may make a comeback, with Dead Space pegged as the likely candidate. And there’s always a chance Respawn Entertainment will take us back to a galaxy far, far away…
Be sure to check back next month for live coverage of all the biggest announcements out of EA Play.
