Xbox Series X gets three more confirmed launch titles
Three more games have been confirmed as launch titles for the Xbox Series X (and also its newly confirmed little brother, the Series S).
First, Ubisoft has announced that Watch Dogs Legion, which launches on current-gen systems and PC October 29th, will come to next-generation Xbox systems on November 10th, the day they launch.
Next, Sega announced via press release that Yakuza: Like a Dragon will arrive on the new Xbox consoles November 10th. That’s a bit surprising, given that the RPG-infused take on the action series won’t be launching on other platforms until November 13th. The next-gen version, in other words, will actually arrive first, at least on Xbox.
Finally, Microsoft confirmed as part of its big Series X announcement that Tetris Effect: Connected, the updated version of a trippy take on the classic puzzle game, will arrive on Xbox Series X and Series S at launch
These three games join some other recent announcements to round out the full picture of the launch lineup. Earlier today, we also learned that Gears Tactics, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and DiRT 5 would all be playable on the next-gen Xbox consoles on day one. Other games, like The Falconeer, have previously confirmed they’d launch alongside the console and have today reaffirmed plans for a November 10th launch.
Of course, the Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X also support backward compatibility with a huge number of games from previous Xbox consoles, so the library at launch will be considerably larger than new releases alone.
Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S launch on November 10th. Microsoft has also revealed even more details about the pricing and functionality of both of the new consoles.
