Xbox One Guide update gives more information about games friends are playing
Microsoft’s Larry Hryb (aka Major Nelson) has shared details about a small Guide update that is rolling out on Xbox One.
This new feature allows players to get more details about a game their friend is playing. Using this new feature, players can play the game if it’s installed, install the game if they own it, buy the game if they don’t, and visit its official club page directly from the Guide.
According to Major Nelson, this new feature is rolling out “soon,” so keep an eye out for it.
In other news, Microsoft recently rolled out the November update for Xbox One that introduced support for Google Assistant and support for the previously announced Gamertag changes. The update also included new text chat filters, Mixer viewing improvements, and a simplified settings menu.
