Wreckfest’s PS5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrade is now available
THQ Nordic has announced that Wreckfest has now been upgraded for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
As previously announced, this upgrade bumps the gameplay up to 4K/60 FPS on PlayStation 5 and introduces dynamic dirt on vehicles, higher resolution textures, increased foliage, improved shadows, Godrays, and more. Xbox Series X/S players can already enjoy 4K/60 FPS gameplay without this upgrade thanks to an optimization patch that released earlier this year.
In addition to the above improvements, the game now supports up to 24-player lobbies for multiplayer on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The enhanced version of the game is available digitally on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S and at retail for PlayStation 5 from today for $39.99. Owners of the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One can upgrade to this new version for $9.99.
