Wreckfest trailer shows off the game’s PS5 upgrade
A new trailer has been released for Bugbear Entertainment’s racer Wreckfest that offers a quick look at the game’s PlayStation 5 upgrade.
The PlayStation 5 version of the game offers 4K/60 FPS gameplay and features higher resolution textures, increased foliage, dynamic dirt on vehicles, improved shadows and lighting, and faster loading times. There’s also support for 24-player lobbies and the DualSense controller.
Wreckfest’s PlayStation 5 upgrade is due to release on June 1st both physically and digitally for $39.99, while existing owners of the game on PlayStation 4 can upgrade for $9.99 from this date. However, as announced yesterday, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to claim the upgraded PlayStation 5 release almost a month early starting May 4th.
