Square Enix has shared a new trailer for NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… that shows the game’s upgraded opening cinematic.
The video is a shot-for-shot revamp of the original PlayStation 3 opening movie with newly recorded voiceovers and music as well as improved visuals. Watch it below:
Earlier this month, Square Enix released a gameplay trailer for Replicant that showed the protagonist, Kainé, and Grimoire Weiss visiting the desert kingdom of Façade. In the trailer, we get to see the protagonist taking on a giant boss made up of sentient cubes.
NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… arrives on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on April 23rd, 2021.
