The Elder Scrolls Online’s Witches Festival begins next week
The Witches Festival, The Elder Scrolls Online’s Halloween-themed event, returns to the game next week, Zenimax Online has announced.
The event kicks off on October 22nd and to take part players will need to navigate to the Holiday section of the Crown Store and acquire the free quest there. Complete the quest to obtain the Witchmothers Whistle, which grants a two-hour 100% XP buff when used. Players who completed the quest in previous years will find the whistle already in their Collections menu.
During the event, defeating a boss will reward players with a Plunder Skull that has a chance to contain one of the following items:
- New Pieces of the Throwing Bones memento
- Combine 10 pieces to craft this collectible
- Hollowjack style items
- Dremora style items
- Witches Festival-themed recipes
- Witchest Festival-themed furnishings and furnishing recipes
- Bewitching Alchemy reagents
- …and an assortment of creepy items!
Players will also get a Dremora Plunder Skull the first time they defeat a boss each day. These skulls contain everything in the Plunder Skull, as well as a chance to obtain Dremora Motif chapters, Witches Festival Writs, Glenmoril Armor Outfit Style pages, and Grave Dancer Weapon style pages.
Finally, bosses will drop three Event Tickets alongside the Dremora Plunder Skull that can be traded with the Impresario for a selection of items.
The Witches Festival will run until November 3rd on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
