The Elder Scrolls Online’s Waking Flame DLC and Update 31 console release delayed
Zenimax Online has announced a slight delay for The Elder Scrolls Online‘s Waking Flame DLC and Update 31 on consoles.
In an update on the game’s official site, the developer revealed that it is pushing back the release by one week to September 8th. This has been done to give the team more time between the PC/Stadia and console release to hopefully offer “a more stable build.”
“By separating our PC/Mac/Stadia and console releases by an additional week, we hope to publish a more stable build, potentially allowing us to include additional fixes before the new content goes live,” Zenimax Online wrote. “This change will also help alleviate stress on some of our support teams, allowing us to better focus on each individual release.”
The developer notes that the PC and Stadia release of the DLC and update are still on track for August 23rd.
The Elder Scrolls Online is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia.
