Star Ocean The Divine Force gameplay trailer reveals release date
Star Ocean The Divine Force is coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and PC on October 27th, 2022, Square Enix has confirmed.
The game is set in a time when the once peaceful Pangalactic Federation is now assimilating planets against their will. Raymond, captain of the merchant vessel Ydas and one of the game’s protagonists, is heading out on a standard transport mission when his ship is attacked by a Pangalactic Federation battleship called the Astoria. Raymond and his crewmate Chloe are forced to abandon ship and land on the “underdeveloped fourth planet in the Aster System.”
Upon landing, Raymond is separated from Chloe and ends up being saved by Laeticia, the crown princess of the Kingdom of Aucerius, and the game’s second playable protagonist.
“Laeticia asks Raymond to help save her kingdom from the threat of the neighboring Vey’l Empire. He accepts in exchange for help finding Chloe,” the publisher adds.
