SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated release date revealed
THQ Nordic has announced that its remake of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom will release on June 23rd, 2020.
The upcoming remake features high-end visuals, “carefully polished” gameplay, and a new multiplayer horde mode for up to two players that supports both online and offline play. According to the publisher, the Rehydrated release also restores content that was cut from the original game, such as the Robo Squidward fight.
A new gameplay trailer has been released alongside the date that shows SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy taking on the evil robots that are threatening Bikini Bottom. Watch it below:
