Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 PS5 release date revealed
CI Games has announced that Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 will finally be coming to PlayStation 5 on August 24th, 2021.
The PS5 version was supposed to arrive alongside other platforms earlier this month, but was delayed back in May. At the time, the developer explained that the delay was due to the discovery of “unforeseen technical issues.”
PlayStation 5 owners can look forward to DualSense Adaptive Trigger support, faster loading times, and upgraded textures and visuals. Two graphics modes are available on PlayStation 5: Performance, which runs at 1440p/60 FPS, and Visual, which is 4K/30 FPS.
“We’re thrilled with the response from fans so far, and can’t wait for PS5 players to experience Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2,” Tobias Heussner, EP at CI Games, said. “With adaptive trigger functionality, enhanced textures and visuals, and faster SSD loading times, there’s a lot to look forward to as we move closer to the PS5 launch.”
As previously announced, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2‘s first major DLC will be free for all players. The DLC will feature a brand new region, additional objectives and contracts, and more.
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is available now on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
